I started coding in 2016 when I became interested in Development after translating tons of IT handbooks. Yes, I used to be a translator and a high school teacher. My first degree was a Bachelor of Arts in Languages (Portuguese and Spanish). I also hold a Graphic and Web Development Diploma of a program I finished in 2018 in Vancouver, Canada.

Currently, I am working as a Team Lead Web Developer/Front-End in an open source project to mentor junior tech professionals, the Web Dev Path, and as a Front-End/Scrum Master in a project that I couldn't be prouder of being part of that is a app called CheckingIn that aims to offer emotional support and increase self-awareness by practicing daily mindfulness.

My main experience is related to develop websites from scratch or update them on CMS platforms like WordPress, as well as utilizing JavaScript frameworks such as React, with a special focus on Next.js.
